Butterfly Cocoon (Chrysalis)
This is a close up of a Monarch emerging from what some think is a cocoon. Actually, with Moths it is called a cocoon and is created by the Moth from silk. With Butterflies it is called chrysalis which is simple part of the caterpillars skin.
